This is an online diary highlighting my coming of age memories in the 1970's, my journey as a entrepreneurial dad and my observations of life today. My hope is that this will be a journal of my wacky experiences that can be looked back on by my daughters, my family and my friends. Read with amusement and enjoy my take on being happy, finding things to live for and the funny side of parenting. |

Sorry about the lack of updates! School has started, the girls are into all kinds of activites, I'm trying to relaunch ChuckleBerry's and work has been busy.

Converse now gives you the option of designing your own Chuck Taylors! Can you believe it? For That Sneaker Wearing Dude it doesn't get much better than that!
Here are the first pair of All Star low tops designed by cartoonist Curtis D. Tucker. We start with the tongue, a cool combination of multi-colored polka dots from top to toe. I've also carried that pattern throughout the lining of the shoe. We then work our way to the outer panel which is a nice moonlight blue which will work great with jeans. The inner body is the more traditional off white which makes this pair compliment almost anything. The racing stripe is all white and I finished the body off with a clean white color on the rubber sidewall. The laces are an off white along with the stitching throughout. The heel stripe rounds out the sneaker colors in a phaeton grey. I've finished off this awesome pair of sneaks with a personal message along the back heel that says Sneaker Guy, lettered in white. They should arrive in about 2-4 weeks at which time I will model them for you. Stay tuned! ![]() ![]() Labels: Curtis Tucker, Sneakers Tuesday, June 30, 2009Movie Stars in my HometownMovie producers are in my hometown filming a movie called, "The Killer Inside Me". This photo is of Casey Affleck getting ready to shoot a scene in downtown Enid, Oklahoma. There's one thing I noticed that makes me think I would be PERFECT for Hollywood... notice the shoes. Both cast and crew got sneakers on! I'd fit right in. Woo Hoo! For more photos and video visit Enid's hottest website EnidBuzz.com. News 9 did a story on the filming of "The Killer Inside Me", tonight on their 6 o'clock newscast. I was asked if they could use a few of my photos for the story. This video was shot off of the TV and is a little stretched.. Why do you wear them all of the time and why is that part of your slogan? My only response is that they're fun. Hey, I'm a cartoonist, that works at home, and I have the freedom to wear whatever I want. What's better than waking up every day, putting on shorts, a white t-shirt and sneakers? Not much! This is a pic of my latest sneaker buy. An awesome pair of Converse Chuck Taylor, North Carolina blue, low tops. I've been called vintage before and I think I have a bit of the 50's stuck inside of me. These vintage style sneakers give me a little of that "Happy Days" feel. (One of my all time favorite sitcoms by the way) (Until Fonzi jumped the shark of course) Anyway, I feel lucky to be able to express my creativity by wearing goofy sneakers, goofy t-shirts and wacky shorts. I spent several years in dress shoes and tie and never felt comfortable. How do you express your individual style? Anyone got a cooler pair of sneakers than these? Labels: Curtis Tucker, Sneakers Tuesday, October 14, 2008A Great Pair of Sneakers![]() "Life doesn't get much better than a great pair of sneakers." These are my current favorite pair of sneaks. Off white Converse low tops. Being that Sneaker Wearing Entrepreneurial Cartoonist Internet Guy, I have an image to uphold. Each day I sport a pair of sneakers and set out on my daily adventures. Today I discovered a fun new application for my trusty sidekick - my iPhone. This application will allow you to add effects to your iPhone pictures. I added the 1974 effect to this photo and thought it turned out awesome. It's my favorite photo of the week.
